Edmond, Oklahoma — February 20, 2026 — Edmond Mobile Meals is encouraging residents throughout the Edmond community to consider volunteering their time to support local seniors and homebound individuals.

Volunteers play an essential role in the organization's daily meal delivery program. Each weekday, volunteers help deliver nutritious meals directly to residents who may otherwise have difficulty preparing food for themselves.

Volunteer opportunities are available for people with different schedules and levels of availability. Some volunteers serve every week, while others participate once a month.

In addition to delivering meals, volunteers provide an important personal connection for clients. A brief visit can offer companionship, encouragement and reassurance to someone who may spend much of the day alone.
