Scott has been on the Board of Directors at Edmond Mobile Meals since 2020. He is currently serving in his second year as Board President. Scott is the Director of Housing & Dining at the University of Central Oklahoma. Scott has been integral in the strategic growth at Edmond Mobile Meals over the past 5 years, and provides valuable guidance in helping the organization adapt to changes. Q: How did you initially get involved with Edmond Mobile Meals?

A: A former board member, Jay Corwin, encouraged me to check it out. I had been looking for a way to get more involved with the Edmond community.

Q: How long have you served on the Board of Directors?

1. Five years.

Q: What is it about the EMM mission that is meaningful to you?

A: For me, whether it's work or volunteering, it's important to me to believe in the mission. The mission of Edmond mobile Meals appeals to me on several levels: helping those who can't help themselves; feeding people, which helps meet our clients' most basic needs; and helping the community, by keeping folks in their homes as long as possible.

Q: What is your favorite thing about serving on the Board of Directors at EMM?

A: Sense of purpose. I like knowing that I contribute to the mission.

Q: What are you most excited about for the future of Edmond Mobile Meals?

A: I'm excited about our new facility and the ability to meet the growing needs of our Edmond seniors.

Q: Why do you believe it is important to serve others in your community?

A: I believe that it is incumbent upon us who are able to help to do so in whatever ways we are able.

Q: Anything else you'd like to share about your experiences at Edmond Mobile Meals?

A: I'm thankful to be involved in an organization that means so much to so many.
